In April of 2019, The TANK Center for Sonic Arts invited guitarist Bill Frisell and filmmaker Bill Morrison to the Tank for a residency that would allow them to create music and images connecting The TANK to the theme of the West, examining the current experience of its rural environment, the conditions and forces that have shaped it, and the deeper context of its history.
