Brooklyn – Monday, October 23, 2017. Americans awoke today to learn of the official release of the Huffbunnies name on a non-Huffbunny webpage. The Huffbunnies were explicitly listed in the liner notes of Michael Hearst’s latest album “Songs For Extraordinary People”. On the specific order of the thanks, an industry expert, who agreed to speak on the condition of anonymity noted that “It’s very common for an artist to list their thanks in alphabetic order”, and went on to state “and that probably accounts for why the Huffbunnies were listed after Kelly Eudailey and Nathan Hearst, but before Jim Paul.”
It’s not uncommon for the artists that themselves perform on a recording be distracted by the music of the album on a release date, rather than the liner notes.
Huffbunnies Jonti Siman, Stephen Gerard and Michael Hearst were contacted but could not be reached for comment at the time of publication.
